A Walk on the Green Side
July 13, 2013

A Walk on the Green Side was presented by the El Rio Coalition II on July 13, 2013. The weather was perfect and there was a very good turnout. A good time was had by all.

The event started at the El Rio Neighborhood Center. Refreshments were served and there were a few speakers.

People begin to assemble

The first speaker was Cecilia Cruz.

Jorge Lespron of the original El Rio Coalition.

Joan Lionetti of Tucson Clean and Beautiful.

Anthony Peralta of MAGA.

At this point, a slideshow presentation was made by Salomon Baldenegro Sr. and Jr. about the original El Rio Coalition. The lights were dimmed for this, and not wanting to disrupt the presentation by taking flash photos, there are no photos of this important part of the event.
